LEARNING OUTCOMES
Upon the completion of this programme, graduates will have acquired the ability to:

gain knowledge and skills of occupational and environmental medicine in the health setting;

identify, assess, evaluate, manage and control occupational and environmental risks and hazards in workplace;

conduct medical examinations, assessments, diagnoses and treatments on occupational injuries and diseases;

apply theories and principles of occupational and environmental medicine in health care management and policy making.

REMARKS
Postgraduate Diploma in Occupational Medicine was phased out in 2010. CUHK decides to re-launch the current programme and retitle it as Professional Diploma Programme, which is at the same level with enhanced content of the previous Postgraduate Diploma Programme, including an additional introduction to environmental health and emerging issues on occupational and environmental health.
